Farquhar Group
The Farquhar Group is over 700km away from Mahé. The area of the atolls is about 370km² but the actual land mass area is only about 11km².
Many islands make up the Farquar Group, including Farquhar, Providence, and Saint Pierre.
Farquhar
Farquhar is an atoll with an area of about 7.5km² and made up of a number of smaller islands.
Providence
Providence is also an atoll but smaller than Farquhar with a total area of about 1.5km². It is made up of Providence Island and Cerf Island.
St. Pierre
St. Pierre, an almost-circular shaped island, is about 1.68km² and located about 30km west of Providence. Due to the riff cliffs, it is extremely difficult for boats to land on St. Pierre Island.
