Tips

When you get off the plane in Seychelles, the heat can be stifling. It can get very uncomfortable very quickly, especially if you are wearing winter clothing. It’s advisable to pack a cool, light outfit in your hand luggage so you can change before landing.

Always have your sunscreen at hand. Even on overcast days, it is still very possible to end up with a bad sunburn. So remember, just because you can’t necessarily see the sun, its rays are very much there.

Exchange rates at time of writing:

  • £1 = SCR 25.70
  • $1 = SCR 18.75
  • €1 = SCR 22.30

Visas are not required for entry into Seychelles. However, due to the current Covid-19 situation, visitors are required to apply for Health Travel Authorization. This can be done through the seychelles.govtas.com platform. You can find more Covid-19 information for visitors in this post.
